Terms of Service

By accessing or using Anatroc Financial Intelligence ("Anatroc", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Anatroc is a personal finance dashboard that connects to your financial accounts via Plaid to display and analyze your transactions, balances, net worth, and spending patterns. Additional features include budget tracking, savings goals, financial simulations, manual account tracking, and social spending personas.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

All content, features, calculations, projections, and suggestions within Anatroc are for informational purposes only and do not constitute:

• Financial, investment, or securities advice
• Tax or accounting advice
• Legal advice
• Recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument

Investment suggestions shared between users in the Investments feature represent personal opinions of other users — not recommendations endorsed by Anatroc. Past financial performance shown in the app does not guarantee future results. Financial projections and simulations are illustrative estimates only.

You should consult qualified, licensed professionals for advice specific to your situation before making any financial decisions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Anatroc, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Anatroc uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting a bank account, you authorize Anatroc and Plaid to access your financial data on your behalf. Your bank credentials are handled exclusively by Plaid and are never stored by or transmitted to Anatroc. You also agree to Plaid's End User Terms of Service.

You may disconnect bank connections at any time within the app. Disconnecting does not automatically delete historical data already synced.

You retain ownership of your financial data. By using the Service, you grant Anatroc a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your financial data and do not sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated scripts to scrape or extract data
• Share false or misleading financial information with other users
• Use the social features to harass, spam, or harm other users

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ANATROC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT FINANCIAL DATA DISPLAYED WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT AT ALL TIMES. BANK DATA IS RETRIEVED FROM THIRD-PARTY SOURCES AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO DELAYS OR INACCURACIES OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

We make no representation that information in the Service is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANATROC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Financial losses resulting from reliance on information displayed in the Service
• Decisions made based on financial projections, simulations, or goal calculations
• Investment decisions influenced by suggestions shared by other users
• Data inaccuracies originating from Plaid or connected financial institutions
• Service interruptions or data loss

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anatroc and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases. You may request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify active users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Suffolk County, New York.
